Carter Exclusive is the private-client real estate platform within the wider Carter Group ecosystem. Its focus is private-client representation, acquisitions, off-market access, physical real estate portfolio management and strategic advisory. Carter Developments remains a distinct development and asset-creation business.
Mandates in writing
A professional engagement should begin with a written scope that explains the requirement, role, authority, responsibilities, fees where applicable, confidentiality expectations and any important limitations. Website enquiries do not create a mandate.
Selective access
Private and off-market information is shared selectively. Identity, authority, requirement and financial capacity may need to be established before sensitive details or documents are released.
Independent verification
Important decisions should be supported by independent legal, tax, valuation, survey, planning, financial and technical advice as appropriate. Property information and third-party statements should be verified before commitment.
Clear attribution
Projects, mandates and historical developments should be described using their correct company, ownership and delivery attribution. Association within the Carter Group does not make the distinct companies interchangeable.
Conflicts and transparency
Any material role, relationship, fee or potential conflict relevant to a mandate should be addressed transparently within the engagement process so the client can make an informed decision.
Responsible enquiries
We may decline or pause an enquiry that lacks sufficient information, involves unclear authority, requests inappropriate disclosure or creates legal, ethical, security or reputational concerns.
